             Summer Enrichment & After-School Programs

We are currently helping all children, especially, immigrant and minority children with summer enrichment programs (camping, field trips, and sports) & year round After-School Programs (home work help, tutoring focusing on Math and reading, and coding classes).

PARENT ADVOCACY

ORCMN plays a significant role in helping parents advocate for mandated and needed programs and services for students, such as special education, disability, and English Language Learners programs.

ACCESS TO HIGHER EDUCATION

We help make the path from high school to college easier for students – especially first-generation college students. We assist students navigate the financial aids, scholarships, and college applications. We also connect new students with the right support and mentors.

POLICY AND SYSTEMS CHANGE

Minnesota’s achievement gap is the worst in the nation. We advance policies for racial equity in education, support and funding for emerging multilingual learners, and teachers that reflect the racial and ethnic diversity of their students.
